A little attitude mixed with a lot of style. The S-2 embodies versatility. Based on the same core principles as our S-1 wave sail, the S-2 has a highly reactive feel and superior performance with a single mast (430cm) rigging all sizes.
This latest incarnation utilizes our new Homogenous Batten Concept. Different batten configurations are used in different sizes in order to get very similar characteristics between sail sizes. The 5.4 and 5.8 use a 5-batten layout, with 1 batten below the boom. The larger 6.4 and 7.0 have an extra batten below the boom to allow increased profile to be built in low in the sail - this increases the lift on the board and also gives a more direct feel that is very consistent with the flex response of the smaller sizes.
