Mission accomplished: Scott McKercher won the PWA World Wave Title. His weapon of choice: BLADE.
After another Tour of Duty, the Blade's power-to-response ratio has been further refined to allow explosive moves at whatever moment you choose to pull the trigger. Size by size, the power distribution along the span has been finely tuned too . . . the larger sizes have the power zone positioned lower, and the twist biased towards a more open head section, while the smaller sizes have progressively higher power zones with a very even twist pattern. This creates a more uniform feel between each size, and allows Scott to throw down the same moves with a 5.7 as he does with a 4.2.
Durability is another key feature of this sail. The new Aramid reinforced MetaleX II material has increased strength while decreasing weight. Extensive kevlar reinforcements ensure it will survive failed missions, and live to fight another day...
Rig Ergonomics: Drives more power down through the board. Low, powerful stance. Low clew position.
Board type: Ideally suited to all wave boards.
